Meet the Providers

Women-Owned. Women-Led. Women Centered.

Rise was built by women who know this terrain firsthand - the symptoms, the silence, the search for better answers. Everything we make, teach, and offer is rooted in lived experience and clinical insight. We believe you - and are here to help.

Her own perimenopausal experience strengthened her commitment to helping women feel informed, validated, and empowered during this transition.

Ingrid is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) with advanced training in menopause hormone therapy through the Heather Hirsch Academy. She also holds a board certification in advanced diabetes management (BC-ADM).

Her care is thoughtful, collaborative and evidence‑based, designed to help women navigate perimenopause & menopause with confidence.

Tara Rothwell is a certified Physician Associate with 29 years of experience spanning Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Hospital Medicine. A proud graduate of the University of Iowa Physician Assistant Program (1997), she was originally trained to care for midlife women—including the thoughtful prescribing of hormone therapy.

Like most clinicians, Tara paused HRT prescribing after early misinterpretations of the WHI study were widely publicized in 2001. Years later, during her own perimenopause-to-menopause transition, she revisited the research with intention and depth. What she discovered was striking: the avoidance of HRT had been driven by dogma, not science. The evidence clearly demonstrated meaningful benefits for women’s long‑term health, symptom relief, and overall quality of life.

This realization reshaped her clinical path and led her to join a Boise practice as a Women’s Hormone Health Specialist. Today, she’s excited to return to partnering with women as they navigate perimenopause, menopause, and midlife health with clarity and confidence.

Tara has recently expanded her expertise by becoming a Certified Menopause Society Specialist, completing advanced training through the Heather Hirsch, MD Academy, and pursuing additional education in osteoporosis treatment and the use of GLP‑1 therapies for weight management. She also holds a master’s degree in Exercise Science and is a certified nutrition and weightlifting coach.

Her care is thoughtful, patient‑centered, and grounded in education, collaboration, and personalized guidance. Tara’s approach emphasizes clarity, partnership, and practical next steps tailored to each woman’s needs. She is committed to helping women feel informed, respected, and empowered as they move through this stage of life.

She looks forward to partnering with you as you thrive and RISE

Our Mission

At Rise Women's Health Collaborative, we believe that when women are supported, informed, and empowered, everyone benefits. We are committed to helping women Rise into their next chapter feeling stronger, healthier, and grounded.

Why Rise?

The name Rise reflects upward movement, energy, transformation, and renewal. A rising tide lifts all ships - and we are here to help Rise the tide in Women’s Midlife Healthcare in Western Montana.

What is a Collaborative?

At Rise, collaborative care means we work with you—combining clinical expertise, thoughtful listening, and education so you understand your options and can make informed decisions.

We often refer to other specialists in support of your health goals. As a menopause‑focused clinic, we don’t provide gynecological or primary care services, so we ask that patients continue annual visits with their preferred providers. If you don’t have a PCP or gynecologist, we are happy to help you find one.

Ready to Feel More Informed About Your Health?

If you are navigating midlife symptoms, hormone changes, or questions about your next step, Rise Women’s Health Collaborative is here to help you move forward with clarity.
